How to Be A Model
1. Be confident in yourself. There is no room to be shy in modeling. Remember when you were a virgin?Well you're not anymore. There is no reason for you to be shy anymore. How can you be a model for someone when you don't have any confidence? You have to be in a state of mind of being in front of people. Some places you will have change clothes in front of a lot of people.
2. Every time you get out of the house, make sure you look your best. You never know who you will meet. If you're wearing sweat pants all the time, you can miss out on opportunities on meeting talent agents.
3. Please shave accordingly. Rocking a mustache and/or thick sideburns if you're a female is not going to cut it for modeling. Also do not use dax to make unique stylish sideburns like ginuwine circa 1990 something if your male or female. Just don't do it. It's not worth it.
4. Do not let your friends take pictures of you with their cellphones. How can you expect to land in a professional career when you don't have professional pictures? You might as well be an instagram, twitter, or facebook model.
5. Please dress accordingly to the type of modeling you're interested in doing. For example if you want to do apparel modeling you would not dress as if you want to be an exotic dancer. Talent Agencies will not take you seriously. However you can find the best pimps by dressing like a street walker.
6. Do not meet photographers at motels/inns or at their mother's house. Professional photographers would not meet you at a cheap accommodation. Most photographers do photo shoots at studios or high end hotels. There's only one thing in store for you if you're going meet them in a cheap place.
7. Don't engage in sexual activities to get a modeling gig. There's alot of predators who take advantage of ladies who will do anything to be a famous model. Professional people would not expect sexual favors if they see that you have what it takes to be a model.
8. Do not expect text messages from modeling agencies or photographers. If someone wants to do serious business, they would not text you. They would most likely call or email you. Be wary of those who texts.
9. Make sure your makeup don't resemble a macaw's face. Models you see in the magazine with all that make up realistically doesn't walk around looking like that. Please try to wear neutral colors for make up. You can also wear no make up if you have smooth skin.
10. Don't follow all the celebrity fads such as rocking the Freddy Krueger nails. People will be scared to even shake your hand without cutting off part of their skin. Talent agents might be worried on how you wipe your butt. So please don't rock long acrylicclaw nails.
